2 million euros for "Gruby Jos". Record reward for the most dangerous boss in Europe
Dutch authorities have increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of Jos Leijdekkers to a record €2 million due to his threat to national security. Leijdekkers, also known as "Bolle Jos," is currently believed to be hiding in Sierra Leone under the alias Omar Sherrif. He was sentenced in absentia to 24 years in prison in the Netherlands for drug trafficking and has a 79-year sentence in Belgium. Authorities estimate he earned tens of millions from drug operations and is also suspected of money laundering and violence. The unprecedented reward aims to encourage cooperation from those who may know his whereabouts.
