"2 Belarusians arrested in Germany on suspicion of sabotage for Russia," reports Der Spiegel
Two Belarusian men were arrested in Germany for allegedly planning sabotage actions on behalf of Russia, according to Der Spiegel. They are also suspected of arson in Romania. The suspects, aged 39 and 50, reportedly intended to set fire near a railway and power line in southern Germany and have been in custody since early October. Romanian authorities are investigating their involvement in a fire at a defense company in Brașov. Romania has requested their extradition, linking them to a sabotage network allegedly directed by Russian intelligence. The Munich prosecutor's office declined to comment, while Russia has denied previous sabotage allegations.
