20-year-old has over 800 thousand to repay because he believed a "bank employee"

A 20-year-old fell victim to a bank fraud scheme after receiving a call from someone posing as a bank employee. Despite confirming with his bank that everything was fine, he followed the scammers' instructions and took out multiple loans totaling 563,000 PLN. He withdrew the money and deposited it into various cryptocurrency ATMs. Eventually realizing he was scammed, he reported the incident to the police, now facing debts exceeding 830,000 PLN. Authorities warn the public about impersonation scams and advise caution when receiving unsolicited calls.
