Starting in 2027, the increased family allowances in Hungary will be doubled, benefiting over 1.7 million children and one million families. The monthly allowance for children with disabilities will rise to 46,600 HUF, while support for adults with disabilities will increase to 40,600 HUF. Single parents raising children with disabilities will receive 51,800 HUF. The general family allowance will also see significant increases, with amounts for families with one child rising to 24,400 HUF and for two children to 53,200 HUF. This marks the first increase in family allowances since 2008, addressing the loss of purchasing power over the years.
