27 days in the army. The last recruitment for volunteers this year starts on November 16.

The Voluntary Basic Military Service offers individuals a chance to gain military experience and decide on a future in the armed forces. Participants undergo a 27-day basic training program that includes drill, military regulations, weapon handling, tactics, and physical training, culminating in an oath. Eligible candidates must be at least 18, Polish citizens, without serious criminal records, and pass physical and psychological assessments. Applications can be submitted at Military Recruitment Centers or online. Volunteers receive a salary equivalent to the basic pay of a professional soldier, currently around 6500 PLN gross monthly, and can pursue further military training or professional service after completion. The program is available in 50 locations across Poland.
