28 thousand families will indeed receive the Efficiency Voucher

Thousands of families will receive the Vale Eficiência support after initial difficulties in the program's execution. The Minister of Environment announced that 27,800 families have been contacted regarding their eligibility. The program, aimed at assisting with window replacements and heating equipment purchases, faced challenges due to the requirement for technical facilitators. Despite the initial goal of 40,000 vouchers, only 20,000 were issued. Now, with the closure of the PRR funding, a simplified process will allow eligible families to receive vouchers worth €1,300 plus VAT. Families will not need to pay upfront, and a platform will be available for them to indicate their interest in the vouchers.
