5 minutes of silence and a call for DNA samples. Spain a day after the tragedy on the tracks

Authorities are comparing DNA samples from families of train crash victims with evidence collected at the scene. Families can provide samples at designated locations in Spain. The railway community is expressing frustration over recurring tragedies. The right-wing Vox party has filed a complaint against the transport minister for negligence related to the crash. Among the injured, 110 people were reported, with 60 already discharged from hospitals. The foreign ministry confirmed 42 foreigners from seven nationalities were affected, including an Argentine citizen who died. One of the victims was 24-year-old athlete Julieta Gallego, mourned by the athletics federation.
