Gajdosék will launch a 51 billion forint drinking water network development program next year.
Next year, a 51 billion HUF drinking water network development program will be launched to reconstruct water networks and reduce water loss. Minister László Gajdos emphasized the importance of ensuring access to clean drinking water for everyone and preventing leaks from damaged pipes. The program aims to replace and renew a significant portion of Hungary's water pipeline network over the next four years. The Tisza Party has committed to making Hungary a water-retaining country again, with plans for regional investments, modernization of irrigation, and improvements in water quality by 2030, targeting a 15-20% reduction in network water loss.
