On October 25, an 80-year-old woman drove her Mitsubishi the wrong way on the S8 expressway, causing concern among other drivers. Police were alerted and found her parked on the emergency lane. The woman, returning from a cemetery, was sober and held a valid driver's license. Authorities confiscated her license and plan to file a court request for punishment, as driving against traffic can lead to fines up to 30,000 PLN. Police warn that wrong-way driving poses significant dangers and advise drivers to pull over safely and call for help if they find themselves in such a situation.
