80 meters above the ground! The highest viaduct in Poland is already halfway through! [PHOTOS]

Construction is underway on the S19 expressway section between Babica and Jawornik, featuring Poland's highest viaduct. The viaduct, measuring 1082 meters long and 29 meters wide, has set multiple national records. Its tallest pillars reach 80 meters, utilizing 51,800 cubic meters of concrete and 9,250 tons of steel. Advanced technologies were necessary due to challenging terrain. The project is over 80% complete, with significant progress on bridge and road works. This section is part of the Via Carpatia route, connecting Northern and Southern Europe, with completion expected in 2027.
