In Courchevel, the fear of "a leap forward into all-skiing" in favor of the 2030 Olympic Games

On October 15, goats return to the low pastures of Courchevel after summer in the mountains. Sylvain Chevassu, who runs a goat farm, fears for his livelihood due to a cable car project linked to the 2030 Winter Olympics. The cable car would disrupt the grazing land necessary for feeding his 80 goats during winter. The project, which aims to connect Bozel to Courchevel, is seen as a threat to local agriculture, as the goats may not produce milk with the noise from the cable cars overhead. Local authorities are pushing for this project, which has been dormant for ten years, under the guise of benefiting the region.
