The whole Balkans hopes for a new chapter after Vučić lost the election in Serbia
The recent Serbian elections resulted in Aleksandar Vučić losing power after 12 years, prompting mixed reactions in Bosnia and positive responses in Croatia and Montenegro. Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković congratulated the winning student list leader, Ilija Srdanović, expressing hopes for improved relations with Serbia. Montenegro's leaders also welcomed the change, anticipating a new chapter in their relations with Serbia based on mutual respect and dialogue. In Bosnia, while some leaders expect improved ties, Bosnian Serb politicians prefer continuity in cooperation. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also sees this as a new chapter in Serbian history and expresses gratitude for Serbia's respect towards Ukraine.
