The Media Council is also investigating hate speech due to János Petrás's public television production before the elections

The National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) is investigating a Kossuth Radio broadcast for hate speech. During the April 7 episode, Kárpátia's frontman referred to supporters of the Tisza Party in derogatory terms and accused them of treason. The NMHH has expanded its inquiry to include hate speech following earlier proceedings for violating human dignity. Additionally, the NMHH initiated actions against HírTV and Karc FM for similar offenses, including a caller's derogatory remarks about the Prime Minister that were not challenged by the host. The investigation reflects ongoing concerns about media responsibility in Hungary.
