The police found a sheep eating chips in the back seat during a drug raid in Scotland

In April 2023, Scottish police discovered cocaine and heroin worth £39,000 in a Volkswagen Golf on the M74 motorway in Glasgow. Surprisingly, a sheep named Pablo Escobar was also found in the car, munching on chips. Lindsey Sangster, the driver, claimed to be training as a shepherd, while the sheep actually belonged to a farmer who had not authorized its removal. The prosecution dropped charges related to the sheep due to lack of reported theft. The cocaine was found to be at least 76% pure, indicating intent to distribute. Sangster, under the influence, pleaded guilty in a separate proceeding and received an 18-month driving ban and community service. A warrant was issued for his arrest after he failed to appear for sentencing, leading to a 300-hour community service requirement and six months of electronic monitoring.
