The NAV conducted a house search at the foundation registered with Fidesz in Józsefváros
The NAV is investigating the Foundation for Civil Józsefváros for suspected budget fraud, following searches at five locations. The foundation received five million forints from the Prime Minister's Office for civil purposes, but it is alleged that the funds were used for campaign materials against the mayor of Józsefváros, András Pikó. Pikó filed a complaint in August regarding the misuse of funds. The foundation is registered at the Fidesz office in Józsefváros and is led by Fanni Vitályos, sister of a Fidesz candidate. Previously, the foundation received significant state funding, totaling 156 million forints in 2024.
