Two other people have been wanted in connection with the ventilator procurement case alongside the two arrested individuals.

The Győr-Moson-Sopron County Prosecutor's Office has requested the arrest of two individuals involved in a fraudulent scheme related to ventilator and mask sales. They were part of a criminal organization that sold these items without paying taxes on the profits. The organization, established in 2020, generated billions of forints in profit through fictitious invoices. Authorities have conducted coordinated actions, including in Austria, leading to the questioning of eleven suspects and the seizure of over one billion forints in assets. One leader was arrested in Austria, while another is in Indonesia with an international arrest warrant issued against him. The investigation revealed that the organization laundered three billion forints and evaded 660 million forints in taxes. The Hungarian state paid 15.6 billion forints for 800 ventilators and three million masks from China.
