The government has shut down the magyarorszag.hu website due to a dangerous cybersecurity flaw affecting multiple countries.
The Hungarian government temporarily suspended access to the magyarorszag.hu website and other government sites due to critical security vulnerabilities in PHP. Minister Zoltán Tanács announced this precautionary measure following the discovery of two severe security flaws affecting around 70% of websites globally. The National Cybersecurity Institute issued a critical alert, recommending immediate security updates. Although no attacks were detected, the portal's operations will be halted for approximately 48 hours. Similar measures were taken in several European countries, including France and the Netherlands, due to the same vulnerabilities, which allow attackers to execute programs remotely without passwords. The PHP developers released fixes for these issues.
