It seems to be the poster child of corruption, what happened at Magyar Közút

The Földes Ferenc Gimnázium Alumni Association congratulated József Attila Szilvai for receiving the Knight's Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit. Szilvai, CEO of Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt., was awarded on August 19, 2025. Shortly after, his company signed a contract for the purchase of over 179,000 weed control discs, which were reportedly overpriced. The discs, designed to enhance safety during roadside maintenance, were acquired at a unit price of 2,785 HUF, significantly higher than market rates. Comparisons revealed that similar products could be sourced for around 800-1,000 HUF. This discrepancy raises concerns about potential overpricing and the procurement process, as only one company submitted a bid for the contract.
