The public media is terminating the contract with the IKO production company

The contract between public media and IKO Műsorgyártó Magyarország Kft will end on October 31, 2023, by mutual agreement. Future productions under the Petőfi brand will be handled internally by public media, as announced by MTVA. Since April 2023, MTVA collaborated with IKO, which produced content for M2 Petőfi TV and Petőfi Radio. All rights to completed programs will now belong to Magyar Rádió és Televízió Nonprofit Zrt., with IKO relinquishing previously acquired usage rights upon contract termination.
