A former Northern Irish party leader may have raped a woman in the London Parliament building.
Jeffrey Donaldson, former leader of the Democratic Unionist Party, faces new allegations of rape from 2016, following a 15-year prison sentence for multiple sexual offenses. The London police are investigating the claims, which were reported by the Northern Ireland police. Donaldson was previously convicted of 18 counts of sexual abuse, including one of rape. The investigation is in its early stages, with no arrests made yet. The accuser alleges that Donaldson attempted to force her to drink vodka and sexually assaulted her in his office. His knighthood was revoked by King Charles III in July, and his wife faces charges of aiding him but was deemed unfit for trial due to health issues.
