In Mayotte, Orange ordered to stop its "chaotic deployment" of fiber optics

Mayotte THD has achieved a significant victory against Orange in the fiber optic deployment competition in Mayotte. The competition authority has ordered Orange to halt its installation of fiber optic connections and any commercial outreach to operators in the wholesale market. Orange must also report its fiber deployment status to regulatory authorities. This decision follows a complaint from Mayotte THD, which won a public service delegation contract to provide fiber optic services to 63,000 homes and businesses in the region.
