According to Mol, nothing has been signed with the Serbs regarding the sale of the Russian stake in NIS.

Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali announced the signing of a contract for the sale of Russian ownership in NIS to Mol. However, Mol later stated that no changes occurred in the ongoing transaction that required market notification. Mol had previously signed a letter of intent to acquire a 56.15% stake in NIS from Gazpromneft. The Serbian government and Mol agreed on NIS's future management in June, which includes acquiring an additional 5% state stake and ensuring the refinery operates at pre-sanction capacity for at least ten years. The agreement is contingent on the sale's completion and U.S. approval, following sanctions imposed on NIS due to Russian ownership.
