NASA locked 4 people for 378 days, the second Mars simulation has ended
Four volunteers spent over a year in a Mars simulation at NASA's Johnson Space Center, contributing to preparations for future Mars missions. They engaged in various activities, including growing plants and conducting simulated spacewalks. The CHAPEA program aims to study human adaptation for lunar and Martian environments. The mission concluded successfully, with plans for future experiments scheduled for 2027. Previous similar experiments have been conducted by other space agencies, including ESA and Roscosmos.
