Due to the summer heat, the Budapest Pride will be held in May next year.

The 32nd Budapest Pride March will take place on May 22, 2024, due to increasing summer heat in recent years. Traditionally held at the end of June to commemorate the Stonewall riots, organizers decided to move the event earlier to ensure a safer experience for participants and volunteers. They acknowledged that weather conditions could still vary, but believe the new date is in the best interest of everyone involved. The Pride March will also kick off the three-week 32nd Budapest Pride Community Festival in 2027. Despite this year's extreme heat, around 50,000 participants attended the 31st Budapest Pride, which faced minor protests but continued uninterrupted.
