Peace, bread, housing, health, education

Housing is currently the most pressing issue in many European countries, exacerbated by inflation and the impact of the Ukraine invasion. The crisis has now affected the middle and upper-middle classes, prompting increased media attention and political mobilization. The extreme left, historically vocal about housing, seeks to capitalize on this situation but faces criticism for its proposed solutions, which may worsen the crisis. Meanwhile, mainstream parties like PSD and PS lack innovative solutions and are partly responsible for the current state, having maintained policies that attracted foreign investment but failed to address local needs. The political landscape is polarized, with a frustrated electorate caught between ineffective governance and radical proposals that could lead to disaster.
