According to Puskás Academy, the tao map is misleading

The Hungarian government, led by Bálint Ruff, released an interactive map detailing sports funding allocations under the Orbán administrations. The data reveals that 28,688 independent programs received funding, with the Hungarian Football Association receiving the largest share of 120 billion HUF. The Puskás Academy, founded by Viktor Orbán, received 45 billion HUF, prompting criticism from the academy regarding the presentation of the data as potentially misleading. The government plans to abolish the current funding system in favor of direct budget allocations starting January 1, 2024, with a proposed 150 billion HUF for sports organizations. This change aims to enhance transparency and accountability in sports funding.
