Putinist Milorad Dodik has been invited to Trump's residence

Milorad Dodik, the informal leader of Bosnian Serbs and a supporter of Vladimir Putin, has been invited to a MAGA event at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate. His invitation is notable due to his controversial past, including being sanctioned by the Biden administration for corruption and threatening Bosnia's stability. After spending millions on lobbying in Washington, he was removed from the sanctions list in 2025. Dodik was convicted in August 2025 for failing to comply with international directives, resulting in his removal from the presidency of the Republika Srpska and a six-year ban from public office. Recently, he hosted Viktor Orbán and emphasized their lasting friendship.
