A tribute to Marisa Merz, Arte Povera’s only female artist

A three-part exhibition celebrates Marisa Merz, the only female member of the Arte Povera movement, showcasing her unique artistic perspective. The exhibition, titled "Marisa Merz. La danza delle ore," opened in Turin coinciding with the Artissima fair. Curated by a team including Beatrice Merz, it features a blend of historic and new works, emphasizing the transformation of materials and the connection between domestic life and art. The Fondazione Merz focuses on her experimental techniques, while GAM highlights her home as a creative space. Castello di Rivoli presents a larger context of her work, including contributions from contemporary female artists, exploring themes beyond the visible.
