The XIII. district demolished the buildings where illegal squatters moved in Rákosrendező.

The local government of the XIII district reported an influx of illegal occupants in Rákosrendező, causing significant security issues. In response, the municipality, led by Mayor József Tóth, undertook demolition work on the buildings, despite lacking ownership rights, as the area belongs to the XIV district and is owned by BKM and the Hungarian State. A public procurement process was conducted to fund the demolition, and the handover documentation was signed, returning control to BKM and MÁV. Tóth emphasized the need for BKM to promptly remove debris to prevent illegal dumping and urged responsible management of the property to avoid past issues.
