Lisbon camp counts 130 tents in Rossio

The Lisbon Camp for housing rights reported 130 tents set up at Rossio Square, with around 300 people planning to sleep there. Delegates from the camp confirmed the number during a meeting, warning of police detention risks after 00:30. A prior demonstration, "We have no home, we set up tents!", saw thousands march from Marquês de Pombal to Rossio. The camp demands include reversing rental laws, halting demolitions and evictions without housing alternatives, and stopping real estate funds from acquiring housing. They also call for increased public housing, rent caps, and public initiatives to recover vacant properties for housing.
