Eight meter high mural adorns school Stroom Leuven at Vaartkom
A new 8-meter mural has been unveiled at Stroom Leuven school, created by Spanish artist Zesar Bahamonte. Sponsored by a Ghent bank celebrating its 100th anniversary, the mural symbolizes independence, trust, and community. Titled 'Becoming Yourself, Growing Together', it features four figures supporting each other, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in personal growth. School director Jo Beelen highlights the mural's message of self-discovery and the necessity of support from others. The mural is part of a series of five artworks commissioned by the bank in various Belgian cities to celebrate its centenary and strengthen community ties.
