Accident in Toledo. Judge prohibits access to the area in Urda to preserve evidence
A judge has prohibited access to the area of a train accident in Urda, Toledo, to preserve evidence after at least 68 fatalities. Only authorized personnel, including security forces and rescue teams, are allowed within two kilometers of the Madrid-Seville high-speed line. The Civil Guard is continuing rescue operations, using heavy machinery and drones equipped with thermal sensors to locate potential victims. The area will remain secured until it is deemed safe for canine units to search for survivors and biological remains. Operations will include aerial support and traffic control to manage access to the site.
