Adusbef, Italia al top in Ue per tasse su gasolio, pesano il 48%
Italy has the highest diesel tax burden in Europe, with taxes accounting for 48% of the price per liter. This results in Italians paying 29 cents more per liter than the EU average. Despite this, Italy ranks seventh in terms of average pump prices. The report highlights that the tax burden is significantly higher than in countries like Poland and Spain. The president of Adusbef, Antonio Tanza, criticizes the government for not implementing measures to reduce fuel prices, warning that the end of discounts could lead to further price increases.
