Aggression in a school in Nice: the student's mother was in an irregular situation and under house arrest, announces Laurent Nuñez

On November 3, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez reported that a mother who threatened a school director and teacher in Nice was in an irregular administrative situation in France. The incident occurred when the 36-year-old woman demanded an urgent meeting with the director, brandishing a firearm and assaulting staff. Nuñez condemned the attack as intolerable and noted that the woman had been banned from French territory since 2019 but was apprehended again in 2023. She had previously received asylum in Italy and was under house arrest in France, while also having protections due to her child being French.
