17-year-old youth's aggressor remains in preventive detention

A 21-year-old man has been placed in preventive detention after allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old in Vila Viçosa, causing serious injuries. The incident occurred during a public altercation on Friday night. The suspect was arrested by the GNR and is charged with attempted homicide. The court also imposed restrictions on contact with the victim and witnesses. The investigation is ongoing, led by the Public Ministry with assistance from the Criminal Investigation Unit of Évora.
