AI posters are everywhere, but graphic designers are (still) not worried: "We are just being valued more"

AI-generated posters are increasingly common, with 60% of print requests at The Printing Shop in Antwerp being AI-created. Graphic designers like Mona Ghafarzadeh and Mark Schmeitz are not overly concerned, as AI designs often lack uniqueness, leading clients to seek their expertise for customization. While AI impacts pricing expectations, it also encourages clients to engage more actively in the design process. Designers believe their skills remain essential for complex projects, and they see a potential for increased appreciation for their work as AI designs become more prevalent. The future of graphic design education is being reconsidered in light of these changes.
