Airbnb hosts can no longer require guests to do the dishes

Airbnb has introduced new rules prohibiting hosts from requiring guests to perform cleaning tasks like washing dishes or stripping beds. The company argues these tasks should be handled by cleaners, especially since hosts often charge cleaning fees. Other restrictions include not asking guests to take out trash or refrain from using amenities like air conditioning. However, reasonable requests such as placing dirty dishes in the sink and separating waste are still allowed. The new regulations will take effect in a month.
