Those for whom Our Homeland is not nationalistic enough could find solace in the marching and flag-waving commemoration of the Hungarian Legion.
The Corvin köz witnessed a radical nationalist event shortly after the Mi Hazánk gathering on October 23. The far-right group Légió Hungária held a torch march, marching over flags representing LGBTQ, communism, and the EU. They commemorated the 1956 revolution at the Corvin cinema steps, chanting slogans against communism and the EU. The group also paid tribute to András Pongrátz, who played a role in the revolution. Their rhetoric included strong anti-LGBTQ and anti-feminist sentiments, reflecting a more extreme nationalist ideology than Mi Hazánk.
