Al via in Ue le commissioni da 2 euro per l'acquisto di pacchi cinesi

Starting today, new EU management fees for small online packages come into effect, particularly impacting major Chinese e-commerce platforms like Shein and Temu. A new €2 fee is added to the existing €3 flat duty introduced in July for packages valued under €150. This European measure aims to curb the influx of low-cost products from China and address the additional costs that the e-commerce boom imposes on customs across the EU, which must manage billions of shipments. Following the introduction of the €3 duty, the European Commission noted a more than 60% decrease in declared packages in the EU over the subsequent three months.
