Aleja Szucha closed. What is happening in front of the Tribunal?
TVN24 reported that early in the morning, the area outside the Constitutional Tribunal was quiet, with only a few people present. By 7 AM, some individuals with flags arrived, but the atmosphere lacked significant drama. A stage and sound system were set up, and police secured the area, which was closed to traffic. The number of demonstrators was notably lower compared to previous days. The crisis at the Tribunal arose after a break was announced for its president and vice-president, leading to potential criminal charges against them. Anna Korwin-Piotrowska is now leading the Tribunal. Prime Minister Donald Tusk emphasized the need to restore the rule of law, while President Karol Nawrocki held discussions with parliamentary leaders about potential reforms, excluding certain political groups. Legal experts and international media are closely monitoring the situation.
