Germany experiences this Saturday the protest of Generation Z youth

On Saturday, young Germans from Generation Z are protesting in 34 cities, demanding better education resources and addressing issues like living costs and housing shortages. The movement, called Gen Z regelt, has attracted around 160,000 participants, inspired by recent youth protests in France. Authorities have noted no signs of violent infiltrators but warned about potential far-left extremists. Many businesses in major cities have taken precautions against possible looting. The protests aim to highlight the struggles faced by the younger generation, with calls for peaceful demonstrations and political engagement. The Federal Conference of Students has distanced itself from the protests due to concerns over transparency.
