Americans are the biggest victims of the war with Iran. Poles far behind the leaders of inflation
Since the onset of US and Israeli attacks on Iran, global fuel costs have surged by $468 billion, averaging an increase of $60 per person. The report from Finland's CREA highlights that the US bears the highest individual cost at $471 per person, attributed to its heavy reliance on inefficient vehicles. Despite being a top oil producer, the US imports diesel to meet domestic gasoline needs. The report also notes that while countries like Canada and Australia face high fuel costs, Poland's increase was $4.9 billion, ranking it 17th globally. The analysis indicates a significant rise in diesel and gasoline prices across many nations, with the US leading in total expenditure.
