Friends, family, and colleagues of the PP bid farewell to former minister Fátima Báñez in Huelva

Fátima Báñez, former minister and CEOE Foundation president, died in a train accident in Toledo. Her funeral is set for today in her hometown, San Juan del Puerto. Many colleagues and friends from the PP have gathered to pay their respects at the Huelva funeral home. Antonio Garamendi, CEOE president, expressed deep sorrow over her passing and praised her commitment to Huelva. Báñez, who served as Minister of Employment from 2011 to 2018, was involved in significant labor reforms and had transitioned to the private sector after leaving politics. She was 59 years old at the time of her death.
