Anacom allocates 172 million euros for 100% coverage of the territory in 5G says Bernardo Correia

The Secretary of State for Digitalization announced that Anacom is allocating 172 million euros for complete 5G coverage in Portugal. Currently, 98% of the population is covered, with efforts underway to reach the remaining 2%. Additionally, plans for a One-Stop Shop for Businesses are being developed, aiming for a user experience comparable to global leaders like Singapore and Dubai. This initiative is expected to launch in the first half of next year. Furthermore, a massive training campaign in artificial intelligence for public administration will be announced soon.
