André Ventura is re-elected president of Chega with 98%

André Ventura was re-elected as the president of Chega with 98% of the votes in the direct election held on October 31, 2026. The election results showed 1.5% of blank votes and 0.5% of null votes. Ventura, the sole candidate for leadership, will celebrate his victory with a meeting with the National Directorate and the party's shadow government. He has led Chega since its founding in 2019 and has consistently received over 94% of votes in previous elections. The 7th National Convention of Chega is scheduled for November 20-22 in Entroncamento, Santarém district.
