ANO lost its representatives in Turnov, they will act as independents

The ANO movement lost its city councilors in Turnov, who will now serve as independents, following a similar loss in Semily. The local ANO branch in Turnov has also been dissolved. Jaroslav Knížek, the leader of the Turnov ANO candidate list, stated that they want to avoid being burdened by national politics, citing the behavior in parliament regarding public media funding as a contributing factor. ANO held four seats in the 27-member Turnov council, finishing third in the elections. Other former ANO councilors joining Knížek as independents include Miroslav Reichl, Tomáš Roubíček, and Dominik Knížek. Additionally, David Pražák, a member of parliament from Semily, has also left ANO and will serve as an independent in the assembly.
