YES, ANO, Mayors for Ostrava and Ostravak signed a coalition agreement

In Ostrava, a coalition agreement was signed by representatives of the winning parties ANO, Starostové pro Ostravu, and Ostravak. The previous evening, the srdcOVA coalition attempted to negotiate a deal without ANO, offering the mayor position to Starostové, but this was declined. Richard Vereš from ANO is set to become the new mayor, with Aleš Boháč from Starostové as his deputy. The coalition holds 37 out of 55 seats in the council, with ANO winning 18 seats, Starostové 12, and Ostravak 7. The srdcOVA coalition secured 13 seats, while Motoristé has 5 representatives.
