Lucio Pifferi, director of Anti-terrorism, stated that the violent events in Milan on October 17 and 18 were not underestimated and were not entirely preventable. He emphasized that police and intelligence gathered information on potential risks related to the protests, which were promptly addressed by public safety authorities. Pifferi, who also leads the Casa committee, affirmed that there was no underestimation of the situation.
