Apple will replace iPhone Duo with screen issues

The iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable phone, launched on October 23, 2026, has reported screen issues. Users have experienced cracks on the inner screen near the hinge shortly after purchase. Apple acknowledged the problem and will replace affected units. The company is also facing supply challenges, limiting availability in stores. Francisco Jerónimo from IDC noted that even with Apple's engineering resources, challenges remain in the foldable device market. He emphasized the importance of a swift and transparent response to mitigate damage, referencing Samsung's past experiences with similar issues.
