After the fires in the Fontainebleau forest, painters, naturalists, and writers are mobilizing for the rebirth of this "natural monument"

The Fontainebleau forest has suffered significant damage due to wildfires, with nearly 10% of the area burned in July. The largest fire occurred in the Trois-Pignons forest, destroying 1,343 hectares, triggered by maintenance work on the A6 highway. Another fire affected 617 hectares near La Faisanderie. The impact on this popular recreational area is severe, as much of the Trois-Pignons forest will remain closed until September 2027, affecting trails and climbing routes.
